Institutional Scholarships
Institutional scholarships are funded directly by Blue Mountain Christian University. The eligibility criteria for recipient selection are established by the University administration. Currently, institutional scholarships are awarded in the following areas:
Freshmen Academic

Academic Merit Award Scholarship

Lowrey Scholars - 100% tuition scholarship for 8 semesters up to 18 hours. Students must maintain a 3.25 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

Tyler Scholars - 75% tuition scholarship for 8 semesters up to 18 hours. Students maintain a 3.0 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

Fisher Scholars - 50% tuition scholarship for 8 semesters up to 18 hours. Students must maintain a 3.0 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

Academic Transfer Students - Community College

Academic Excellence Award Scholarship - competitive scholarships that are not stackable with Phi Theta Kappa.

Presidential Scholars - 100% tuition scholarship for 4 semesters up to 18 hours. Students must maintain a 3.25 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

Dean's Scholars - 75% tuition scholarship for 4 semesters up to 18 hours. Students must maintain a 3.0 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

College Scholars - 50% tuition scholarship for 4 semesters up to 18 hours. Students must maintain a 3.0 CGPA to retain the scholarship.

ALUMNI GRANT
The Alumni Grant is offered to students who have a parent that has graduated from BMC.
HOMESCHOOL GRANT (FRESHMEN ONLY)
Awarded to students who were home educated for at least the last two years of high school. Renewable with maintenance of a 3.0 GPA.
SIBLING GRANT
Amounts vary.
SBC SCHOLARSHIPS
Church-Related Vocations
Church-Related Vocation (CRV) scholarships are available to qualifying students. An applicant must be a full-time student studying for a church-related vocation (pastoral, educational, music, youth, or mission ministry) and must be a member of a Southern Baptist church.
Other SBC Scholarships
SBC-related scholarships (Acteens, Bible Drill, MK, and Speakers Tournament, etc.) are available to qualifying students.
FINE ARTS
Performance scholarships are awarded annually to entering freshmen who plan to major or minor in a program in the Department of Fine Arts. Students must complete a scholarship application and audition with the Fine Arts faculty.
Music
BMCU's music program offers scholarships and includes the Chorale and Ensemble.

IMPACT - Drama Team
Drama team scholarships are open to all BMCU students. IMPACT includes a group of talented writers and actors that perform on campus and travel regionally. Anyone interested in becoming a part of the drama team should complete a scholarship application. Band
BMCU's band program offers scholarships and includes a marching band - BlueSound, a jazz ensemble, and a concert band. Anyone interested in becoming a part of BMCU's band program should complete a scholarship application.
